Drofilla is operated by Thurix LLC. This policy covers the Drofilla web platform and the Drofilla mobile app for iOS and Android.

Information we collect

We collect identifiers (name, email, company), usage telemetry from the marketing site and product, support transcripts you submit, and billing records required to deliver the service.

The Drofilla mobile app

The Drofilla mobile app is used by warehouse and delivery staff employed by our customers — third-party logistics operators. Where an operator deploys Drofilla to its workforce, that operator determines what is collected and why; Thurix LLC processes this data on their behalf.

Location

Drofilla collects location data to enable live delivery route tracking even when the app is closed or not in use.

During delivery routes. Location is recorded continuously while a driver has an assigned route in progress. Tracking begins when the driver starts a route in the app and ends when the final stop is confirmed, the route is completed, or the route is cancelled. This is used to show the operator's dispatchers where each delivery is, to time-stamp arrivals and departures at stops, and to give the receiving business an estimated arrival time.

During shifts. While a staff member is signed in and on shift, the app sends a periodic status update roughly every thirty seconds that includes an approximate location. This is used to confirm which warehouse a person is working at and to maintain their on-duty, idle, or offline status for their supervisor. This applies to warehouse staff as well as drivers.

Location is never used for advertising, sold, or shared with third parties for their own purposes.

Drivers may decline background location access. The app will continue to work, and location will only be recorded while the app is open on screen.

Photos, video, and signatures

The app collects images and recordings captured during normal work: photographs of picked and loaded orders, purchase receipts, proof-of-delivery photographs, recipient signatures, and vehicle inspection videos recorded before and after a route. These are retained as the operator's record of what was delivered and in what condition.

Barcode and item data

The app reads product barcodes and UPC codes during picking and delivery verification. Camera access is used for scanning and photography only; no images are captured except where described above.

Who can see this data

An operator's own administrators and dispatchers can see location, proof images, and route history for their staff. Operators are separated from one another — no operator can see another operator's staff or deliveries. Receiving businesses see only the estimated arrival and delivery status for their own orders, never a driver's location outside an active delivery to them.

Retention

Location points recorded during delivery routes are deleted sixty days after they are recorded. This period covers the window in which a delivery may be queried or disputed, after which the individual points are no longer needed.

Location included with shift status updates, and location recorded at check-in, is deleted after thirty days.

A daily summary of each staff member's work — including an approximate average location for the day — is retained as part of the operator's workforce records.

Delivery records — proof-of-delivery photographs, recipient signatures, purchase receipts, and vehicle inspection videos — are retained for the life of the operator's subscription and a limited period afterwards, since they form the operator's record of what was delivered and are needed to resolve delivery and payment disputes.
