How to Run Delivery Dispatch From ChatGPT or Claude
Why run dispatch from a chat
Owners and dispatchers are rarely at the desk when the day changes. A driver calls, a customer asks where their order is, a prospect wants a price. With Drofilla connected to ChatGPT or Claude, you ask in plain words and get answers from your live Drofilla data, or make the change after you see a preview.
What you can ask
- "How did this week go?" for orders, deliveries, revenue and shorted items, day by day.
- "What's still not picked for tomorrow?" for open orders and their next step.
- "Where are today's routes, and who's running late?" for each route's driver, vehicle, stops in order, ETAs and late stops.
- "Show today's routes on a map" for stops, pickup stops and depots.
Move a stop or reassign a driver
Say what you want, for example "Put Harbor Grill first and give the route to Marco." Drofilla shows a preview: what will change, which stops get new ETAs and who gets notified. Nothing changes until you reply "confirm". A preview expires after 5 minutes and works once, and routes that already started are protected.
Plan the whole day in one request
Ask "Route all of today's confirmed orders." You get new routes per area, with pickup stops added for orders from other stores, as a preview to confirm.
Price a supplier's invoice on the spot
Photograph a restaurant's current supplier invoice and name the stores to compare with. Every line is matched and labeled (Exact, Equivalent, Pack differs or No match), every price shows its date, and you can ask for a PDF in your company's name. Lines that can't be compared are listed with the reason.
Is it safe?
People see and change only what their role and stores allow. Every question and change is logged. The owner can turn it off for the whole company or disconnect anyone's AI app from Settings.
Set it up in a minute
- In the Drofilla admin, open Settings → Connected AI apps and copy your address.
- Add Drofilla as a connector in ChatGPT or Claude (paid plans that support connectors).
- Sign in with your Drofilla account and click Allow.
